486 yards allowed, 369 to Mike white.

In no way shape or form should that have been a win. Defies logic.

Its crazy

We just finished 3-1 against the most difficult stretch on our schedule. 14-3 is not out of the realm of possibilities.

Big turnaround from the days of Zimmer

Going 3-1 with a -22 point differential is something

Enjoy the season, as Mike Tice would say. This is a special team.

Didnt you hear what Donatell said? “I don’t care how many yards they give up. Yards are not points”

Luck can only carry you so far. I love they are winning and are in the playoffs. I wish they were better coached on D.

I’m not giving the DC a pass, but seems to me the biggest problem is the DBs and edge guys keep missing tackles. Maybe they can be coached up and the coaching staff is failing, however, if they’re just naturally poor tacklers, I might put more blame on the GM.

If the GM did put together a terrible tackling team, that could also explain the typically soft coverage too.

10-2, that’s not luck, the reason the Jets lost is because they couldn’t finish drives. Defense deserves credit for holding them to 5 field goals

Oof, well I can’t say I agree with that. The more your defense is on the field, the more that can go wrong.

It’s unbelievable that they stopped the jets at the goal line on that second to last series. Z Smith and H Smith had what should have been TFL and missed. Inside the 5. Fortunate

Oof, Jimmy G gets carted off with an ankle injury for the Niners. That’s big even though he isn’t considered a top QB

It isn't luck buffalo fumbled a snap? That the jets dropped an easy TD? We must define that differently. They have tied an NFL record for one score wins.

Don’t forget the Washington game where their guy hit the snapper and we were able to run out the clock instead of having to defend a 3 point lead with 2 minutes left. Every team has luck but this year we have super luck. I was flipping out seeing our defense celebrate when I thought berrios caught that one in the end zone. Throw was a touch behind him

It’s the NFL, teams don’t win their divisions because of luck, defense plays great when they have too. I don’t know what you expect, I guess you’d be happier if they were 6-6

Yards are not points. You can’t say he’s wrong about that

He’s not wrong but that sort of like saying “hits aren’t runs”. They aren’t, but if you’re constantly putting a couple guys on base every inning, the averages are going to eventually catch up to you. Mike white almost threw for 400 yards today. That’s…a lot

Winning at slot machines is luck. So is going on a roll at the crap table. Winning in the NFL is not.

Except they haven’t and the Vikings are 10-2. The Jets would have won if they didn’t have to settle for so many field goals. I’m not a big fan of this defense, but it’s actually working. Will they win it all? That’s doubtful, and the offense wasn’t all that great today, as many yards as they gave up it was the defense that sealed the win today, and it wasn’t the first game you can attribute to the defense.

Based on what? I can be happy about the wins, and not happy with the defense at the same time. Come on.

The defense sealed the deal today, and that’s not the first time. They kept the Jets out of the end zone all but once. I wish they would tackle better and their coverage could be better, but for all their faults they have come through when the game is on the line numerous times. I’m pretty sure they did their job today

As a Vike fan first and Jet second Ive seen this Jet game many times.  They cant finish.  Salah has moved that ball for them but still not there.

Always Vikes first happy they won.  Happier if Dallas gets teeth kicked in tonight

Man the niners still rolled the dolphins even with their third string QB. They might be the NFC rep in the SB

I highly, highly doubt it. Jimmy G is out for the rest of the season.

Definitely plenty of luck. But to be fair, most games see the Vikings get most of the bad breaks going against them BEFORE the last second Deus Ex Machina ending.
