Well Green Bay is some pile of **** this year

I watched a good portion of the 4th quarter today. Rodgers still can sling it. The problem is there isn’t a single WR on roster who can catch his passes. I saw at least 3 passes that hit the WR in their hands and dropped.

I also don’t know why they continue to make AJ Dillon a thing when Aaron Jones is light years better than him.

I think the KC, Buffalo, Eagles are the clear best teams but after that, you could argue the Vikings are better than SF and LA. Really glad for our easy schedule. Will be really hard for GB to catch us.

Also, Detroit is just bad.

And they shouldn't be. Every year they have high draft picks, and while they don't tend to be super stars, they do tend to be above average players. I mean, their defense is terrible, but half the players on it aren't terrible, how does that compute? Jared Goff isn't a great QB, but he's light years better than Justin Fields, Zach Wilson and the deceased Matt Ryan and those teams can still win a few surprising games.

Seems to be a lot more trades this year. I was trying to think of whom the Vikings could get, but the defense still has so many holes, I'm not sure it would help a ton. Is there a non-rental defensive DL or DB that would make sense?

What's with all the ODB talk though? Did I miss something? He was pretty ordinary last year. And really most of the last half decade. He had several TDs after he was traded to the Rams, but he was basically just Adam Thielan with a cooler haircut. Are people really still craving him because of a single playoff game? Seems the Vikings could help themselves in other ways; I still don't think Cousins is the kind of QB that could support another wideout, especially one that complains about not getting the ball regardless if he's open.

I don’t think we can afford anything unless the other team picks up 90% of the salary. We only have $1.3 million in cap space.

Sounds like we’ve been poking around at the WR market like Brandin Cooks, Jerry Jeudy, and KJ Hamler. Doesn’t appear this regime trusts Osborn very much, and Thielen is not a guy who can stretch the field anymore.

Frankly I’d rather stand pat or do some minor selling of players for draft picks than mortgage the future even more.

Yeah, they'd have to get someone still on their rookie deal unless they want to do something drastic with a current player's salary. And I DON'T want that again.

And I still believe a 3rd WR is rather pointless as I think that unless a play is drawn up for another WR, Cousins will still look the way of the two guys he's most comfortable with, then check down to the TE or RB if they aren't open. I thought that might change with the new regime, but I actually think Cousins has reinforced that belief this year.

Guy has made millions off that one off.  Makes GM's forget the crap that comes with him.

They are 5-1..... Fake or not, they can't sell.

Yeah, if James Robinson can only fetch a 6th round pick, what's the point?

Same re-run every game. Look good in the first half. Stumble out of the gates in the 3rd quarter. Let the opponent get back into the game. Kirk has to lead a game winning drive late in the 4th quarter.
