2022 Forecast

I can't really take credit for this forecast, for it's an accumulation of insight of this FO given by fans in debates. So here we go.

Season opener Line-up

CF- Cave, he had a bad ST but of coarse spring training don't count

RF- Rooker, you gotta love his bat

LF- Larnach, he's not quite ready but he'll have to do

INF

C- Jeffers

3B- Sano

2B- Arraez, that'll make a lot of people happy

1B- Kiriloff

SS- Polanco

Pitching

Filled out with AAAA and Dumpster Diving FA pitchers. Out of this bunch you'll find a gem or two, because as they say " even a blind squirrel will find an acorn or 2"

Transactions

Wes Johnson have been leered away to the Angels.

As you can see Buxton, Kepler, Garver and Donaldson have been traded for warm bodies. Forget any trade for high end pitching because there's none out there to be had. Many good potential undeveloped prospects were lost on waivers due to the heavy influx of new players.

Outcome

Polanco's rise stalled and nose-dived, fans cry out to trade him, they do, adding to the 40 man roster crunch

Despite of the shortened season caused by CBA. Due to this FO prowess in negotiations, players evaluation and management, set a MLB record for game lost in a single season.

Future

The team becomes a bottom feeder for over a decade

After 3yrs. of injuries and adjusting to MLB, Kiriloff has been traded because the organization discovered they could not afford him due to his agents demand and big drop in fan attendance. So they'd try to recoup. So the player that they wanted to build the team around is gone. 

The Polhads sell the Twins.

Please forgive me that this satire (I dislike satire) isn't funny, it's not meant to be. I drank this FO Kool-Aid for yrs. but debating their minions who defended their stupid policies, my eyes were opened.

I have a great admiration for the Polhad family. Carl rescued the Twins from Cal Griffin and kept them in MN. He brought in Andy McPhail and they transformed the Twinkies into World Series champions. Jim gave this FO an A+, how delusional can you be. Quit drinking the Kool-Aid, wake up fire the one(s) who's responsible for this mess, before it's too late. Reach out to Buxton and ask for forgiveness and try to keep him in MN.

I'm frustrated too, but  every other fanbase who sees the stuff we've been posting one season removed from winning the division back-to-back would probably rightfully be telling us to settle down and stop over reacting.

I've definitely been part of the overaction the past two days, I'm part of the problem too.

Thank you Nick for your concern. I just felt the need to accumulate all the points of policies that many of this FO supporters use to defend them. 1 or 2 maybe not seem like much but when you put it all together, it's very shocking when looking at the big picture  with the consequences of these policies. With hope that might wake up some people.

We  squeaked out  2 division titles, due to the juiced ball in 2019 which favored our hitters and the shortened season 2020 which favored our pitchers. So we shouldn't rest on our laurels. So the point I want to make is if it comes down to choose between our FO and Buxton, there is doubt were my loyalties lies.

A lot of things need to happen for this prediction to actually come to be but guaranteeing Cave's contract brings us one step closer.
