So five in their top 100 and six in BA? Solid. I don't think we have the same high ceilings we saw five years ago or so. Seems like our system is full of potential regular players but lacks the true high upside future all stars. But that also means we have some significant trade depth, if we went that route.

Here's the trend from 2019 to today for our Twins on this publication:

 

Royce Lewis - No change 

Alex Kirilloff - Down 17 spots 

Brusdar Graterol - Down 30 spots 

Jordan Balazovic and Trevor Larnach were unranked. 

 

Interesting that they're holding steady on Lewis after his down season. Here's another publication that has Graterol trending the wrong way.

I think the thinking on Graterol is that they are more certain he's a reliever, which isn't as valuable.

I don’t understand how Balazovic is ranked so low. His stats speak for themselves and his “stuff” is much improved yet he’s overlooked despite jumping 3 levels in 1 year (A, A+, and AA for the playoffs). I mean most would say Balazovic has a top of the rotation potential yet how he’s rated this low is baffling.

Not sure he's ranked that low. He's in the 55 FV group. He has one plus pitch right now and if he can make the breaking ball plus, he'll go up.

The ratings likely differ from your opinion because they don't view him as a top of the rotation starter.

Outside of Twins Daily, who is saying that?

 

Fangraphs projects him as a #4 starter.

Pipeline doesn't appear to project a rotation placement in their write up, but they only project one plus pitch - his fastball.
