h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Wow, bat for Cruz and then hit for Eddie? Burned them both in one fell swoop. Hope it works.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Buxton finally scores- long inning
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hildenberger has a nice shiny 6.59 ERA.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Little things..... like inherited runs.... Hildenberger's performance now keeps Perez in line for the loss, when it is really Hildenberger that should be responsible now. NOT relief.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 It’s about time Hildy gets demoted to Harper’s or Morin’s role... or AAA.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hildenberger has a nice shiny 6.59 ERA. Thanks for the update. I can't do the like thing, though.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 It’s about time Hildy gets demoted to Harper’s or Morin’s role... or AAA.He should have been demoted last night. Duffey should not been sent back.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I wish Kepler would become consistent. Now batting .178 for May, even with the last two games in Toronto.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Diaz holds another run from scoring. But he will send Cron (remember?)
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Bases loaded, and 2nd and third. Legend my a....
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Good offenses don't leave 10 runners on base in close games...
Tibs Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I hope someone gets a better view than we had on the broadcast, but I'm not sure how the fastest guy in MLB is held up at third base on a double. Also not sure how Adrianza doesn't score from first on a double with two outs.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 And that's why you let Adrianza score, instead of holding him at third, for a more sure thing, perhaps. Being down one instead of two at this point is huge!

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Splitting with the Tigers, at home, is a bummer. If they don't come back and win it in the 9th, that is.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Best team in baseball splits a series with the Tigers at home? Pathetic.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Splitting with the Tigers, at home, is a bummer. If they don't come back and win it in the 9th, that is.Indeed it is. The losses were winnable too
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Does Buxton loaf to first like that? I never get why players don't always run it out and put pressure on the infield.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Best team in baseball splits a series with the Tigers at home? Pathetic.Meh, the best teams every year lose 60+
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I hate umpires calling balls and strikes. Hate hate hate it.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Another critical missed call by Baker ... What an oaf!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 How big is the missed ball call on Garver now? Umpires.......
Tibs Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Best team in baseball splits a series with the Tigers at home? Pathetic. You win some, you lose some. It's baseball
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Takeaways: Hildenberger needs to be replaced and Twins need hit better with RISP,
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 So close to Garver hitting it out with the bases sacked, and Cron with runners on 2nd and third. Astudillo had a chance with the bases loaded, and with runners on 2nd and third, and pops out both times. This was a series that should have been won at least 3-1.
