He and I go way back. I'm his good luck charm - the game I saw him in the Arizona Fall League, he got winged by a batted ball and didn't play the rest of that season. I'm sure he was pleased to know I was posting today.

Fwiw, I was hoping to have seen him by now too, but the shorter bench and Cruz's standing as heir apparent to the Chili Davis "Break Glass in Case of Defensive Emergency" role must have made RoBa err on the side of caution.
