glunn Community Moderator Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 Where can we buy Astudillo jerseys?
ashbury Verified Member Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Where can we buy Astudillo jerseys?Caribes de Anzoategui has a web site with a store, maybe your Spanish is better than mine and you can locate what you want? More seriously, I hope Willians and all other Venezuelan players are not in danger due to their celebrity.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Astudillo could wear number 3 and he would be the greatest of all-time to wear his number.

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 #57 should still be on the Hall of Fame ballot. Meanwhile, #34Kirby doesn’t even get a mention. And some open real estate in the 80s and 90s.
Platoon Verified Member Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I had missed out on the Ottavino v Ruth topic. But better late than never, I will add this. Ottavino (and others) may be missing the fact that Ruth was not only one of the great hitters of all time, but also great pitchers. Basically a history defining MLB baseball player. Ottavino may have a point, he may indeed strike out Ruth numerous times consecutively. But Ruth didn't put up those numbers by mistake. Sooner or later he would have caught on. The Ruth's and Williams of the world have elite hand eye coordination. That's not taught or acclimated. You simply got it, or you don't. As for Astudillo? Great baseball player? Or greatest of all time?
