Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Buck and Aikmen are so hard to listen to.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Vikings getting bailed out big time by the refs.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Remmers having maybe his worst game in a Vikings uniform today.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Man, that's the second time we've wasted a challenge flag after we got the first down. Not really impressed with Zimmer here.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Zimmer has some terrible challenges.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Zimmer has some terrible challenges. And Cook has terrible awareness, not reaching out for the first down.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Touchdown all the same!
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Remmers having maybe his worst game in a Vikings uniform today. If he's on the roster next year, the GM utterly failed scouting 101.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Congratulations to Diggs. 1000 yards is an awesome achievement, and that dude deserves it.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Barr just got killed by Trubisky.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Rhodes being out hurts on 3rd down. I think next year Hill might jump Waynes for the 2nd corner. Not that Waynes is bad, Hill just seems to make better plays.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Kearse is terrible. He's been a liability all year.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 And there's your dagger. The defense didn't stop them at all today. And Zimmer's seat is heating up.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Yep. Spielman should be gone. Good riddance. Zimmer gets another year, but things don't look good. This season has been a huge disappointment. The amount of talent on this team is not showing up on the field. I've been on Zimmers team, but this season it has been blatantly obvious there is a problem.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 If I'm the Bears, I might regret this victory. Philly has looked pretty good lately and will obviously be a tougher first round opponent in Chicago.

I've been on Zimmers team, but this season it has been blatantly obvious there is a problem. Why would you give him another year of you don't think the talent is showing up on the field? This team is completely unprepared and/or unwilling to match the Bears physicality. Zimmer has accomplished nothing as a head coach, I don't understand the love for him. He belongs at D Coordinator, not head coach.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 After that failure..... I'm sour.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Ok they get a couple more cracks at it. No margin for error. But yeah, either way, it’s completely disgraceful.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Priefer can pack his bags, too. Special teams has been overall poor since he won his macho-man contest over Kluwe way back when.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I'm ok with Spielman for now. He's done a nice job managing the cap, I guess, and he's made a few nice draft picks but if he ignores the OL this offseason, I'm done with him. Zimmer can stay but they need someone to fix the offense who will take the timidness out of him on that side of the ball. Bluntly, this team should be playing up-tempo offense and, with this defense, be the first team that decides that punting is optional. The OL makes a lot of that hard to do, of course.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I would not be disappointed in a house cleaning ... But I'd be surprised. We are going to hear that the OL coach died, and other excuses. They'll win ten next year, and not make the championship game.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 1-6 against teams with a winning record.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I hadn't realized how long Spielman's been our GM - since 2006. Uff-da.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 You're ok with Spielman? There are too many problems with this team to be comfortable keeping Spielman and/or Zimmer. I'm done with Spielman. Zimmers shtick is getting old, and isn't effective. I'm really disappointed with Cousins. That might or might not be on Zimmer and Spielman. It isn't like he was an unknown. Everyone in MN was excited because Teddy, Bradford, and what's his name were not super bowl QBs. The lousy OL is absolutely on Spielman, and that could have been a big factor in how they offense has played.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 Goodnight. A lot of questions for this team going into next year. This off-season is going to be interesting.

I thought he came along at about the same time as Zimmer. He does have some pluses as I mentioned but I won't object if we moved on.
