Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Nice offense. Two great WR and a 35mm QB. I won't be fooled by them early in the year ever again.

Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Zimmer is right about the balance... but Defillipo is once again, failing to put an NFL offense on the field. Does thielen even have any touches?
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Man, I just did the math and found out that if I'd just gone to work for 3 hours on Sunday's during football season, instead of NOT watching the Vikings win crap, I'd have an additional 27,360 dollars in my kids college fund. Sad.

TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Wow. How does Kendricks fall over himself? Russell doesn't make those kind of mistakes, have to take advantage. It'd been a pretty long drive and a long play. I think he was gassed.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 It'd been a pretty long drive and a long play. I think he was gassed.Yeah, he would have been caught from behind but would've been fun to watch.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Whatever job you do to make $900 per hour... Sign me up.That's over 19 years since I started working full time.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Yeah, he would have been caught from behind but would've been fun to watch.I don't agree at all, he had a head start, and is running the opposite direction as the offense. I don't think anyone comes close to catching him.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Sooo... play fake and take a shot on third down I'm fine with. But then punt on 4th and 1? Stupid. Either get the first down or take a shot deep followed by a play to get the first down.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 My god... DeFillipo was described as innovative. He's anything but innovative.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 I heard Bercich on my way home tonight predicting that Thielen would line up in the slot and get a lot of targets tonight, based on Seattle’s coverage scheme. So, yeah.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 3rd and 1, no short passing options. Fire the OC mid game. Let Kirk call his own plays. Or Thielen or Diggs.

Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 3rd and 1, no short passing options. Fire the OC mid game. Let Kirk call his own plays. Or Thielen or Diggs.Take Zimmer with him.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Plus, the only ones close are lineman. He takes that to the house if he doesn't jump. Kendricks has a few INTs for touchdowns. Implying he doesn't know what he's doing or can't be a playmaker is just silly. He was just gassed, nothing more than that.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Defilippo strikes again. How freaking hard is it to run a play that goes past the sticks? And running the ball on 4th down, unless it's a QB sneak, are you kidding me?
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Seriously, this offensive line is so bad it's hard to determine how much is on the coaches and the QB.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 No, actually going for it on 4th and 1 at your opponents 39 is not a bold call, it’s s no brainer.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Good grief This team needs to complete eradicate the part of their playbook used for 3rd and short.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Seriously, this offensive line is so bad it's hard to determine how much is on the coaches and the QB. The coaches have known it was bad all year, they need to adjust. Like, throw a pass past the sticks maybe? And, the GM has known the OL is bad since he got here. Still not fixed.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 This O line is single-handedly dooming this team. Anyone could have seen it in March. And running it right up the gut with the RB has worked on 3rd/4th and one zero times in the last 4-5 games. But let's keep doing it.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Meanwhile, Will Hernandez has the highest PFF ranking they've ever given a rookie guard.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Wow. Terrible call. Possibly the worst I've ever seen.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 Wow. Terrible call. Possibly the worst I've ever seen.Their WR couldn't catch that if he was 10 feet tall.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 At best that should've been an illegal contact call. PI? Good lord.
