They showed a Seattle player (punter? not sure) taking some practice field goals and missing badly, but the player was using the soccer style wind up. I bet if he practiced the kicks straight-on style (like Mark Mosely, Rick Danmeier) the kicks would have sacrificed some distance but been much more accurate.

It seems NFL officials really don't like the Saints since bountygate. Can't say I care. I wouldn't have thrown a flag either.

 

The Vikings had the same sort of terrible officiating working against them in the 70s and 80s, which I think was more due to corruption than it was the Vikings doing anything wrong.

The most simple explanation is that refs are human and miss calls. That likelihood overwhelmingly dwarfs the almost impossible explanation that there is some grand conspiracy to make calls for/against certain teams.

Same. But I think Mahomes is going to get his team to that game and a couple of Super Bowls very soon. I'm okay with it not happening this season.

I'm glad he exposed the NFL and he's getting paid. It was crystal clear IMO he was blacklisted from the NFL.

Odell Beckham to the Browns.... First playoff appearance ever for that team next year. They could be pretty good.

On Paradis (who has major concerns of his own FWIW) I agree.  But paying 5-10 million for guys that are as good as Nick Easton does not interest me.  

 

This draft is deep at OL, DL, TE, and Safety.  All needs, we can make this work in the draft.  Let's hope we have a trade coming soon.

NFL fans are the worst. They forget the people they idolize are human too. They're acting like Andrew Luck intentionally kept this retirement under wraps in order to sabotage the Colts. It's sad... Truly sad.
