Just a brutal outing by erv against a pretty bad lineup. And he never should have been out there in the fifth but that’s not his fault

Is Erv closing in on a Wins record? I think we're well past the point of "Giving Erv a chance at getting through 5 to get the win"

 

May have gave him a bigger chance at a loss...If the plan is to lose for a better draft pick, they better check how back they have to play to catch the O's and Royals

Ummmm, huh? How is he supposed to prove he can do it against MLB pitchers without coming up?

 

But wouldn't the purpose of bringing him back up be to see if he can do it against major leaguers?

This is on Mollie. He stuck with Santana way too long. It was obvious he had nothing. So he brings in May with no margin of error. He loves his vets. Side note: Ervin should talk less and worry about making some pitches

Pretty crisp flowing game...May doing his best FRE imitation there in the top of the 9th but he holds on for the Save...Big Erv couldn't quite finish things off in the 9th, just ran out of gas...it's nice to see a MLB game finish in 2 hours
