VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 The stream is fine. Just had to figure out the quiet mode that gets rid of the stupid stream of emoticons. In the upper right hand corner you should see three dots (I'm on an iPad). Click on them and you should see a "quiet" icon option. My iPhone has a "quiet" next to the monitor icon in the upper right corner as well that you can click to get rid of the clutter On my iPad I can also screen sweep to the right and down to get rid of all the clutter.
slash129 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 KEPLER!! E-5 going to the Morales school of base-running.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Better lucky than good, eh Jose?
slash129 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Carrasco may maddux the Twins today.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 The shift is really working for both teams today, wow.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Can they really not put off the alarm for one day when the twins are playing in the afternoon?
slash129 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Was Morrison trying to blame that terrible swing on the umpire?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Carrasco threw 3 balls to Polanco. He must be tiring...
mikeee Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 must be some good pitching happening
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Off the wall and completely unimportant observation as I am watching the facebook feed - and I have seen this from other broadcasts as well. In the box that tracks score, count on the batter, pitch count, and number of outs - I have noticed their are only 2 dots to keep track of the number of outs. I can understand the concept - by the time you reach 3 outs you don't show the box any more so there is really no need to show 3 dots but somehow it still troubles me slightly. I am always looking for how many outs there are out of the 3 outs especially if there are no outs and you are trying to figure out what the 2 dots represent.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 IMO, Mejia might be one of TR's best smaller trades.......he's a legit number 4 starter. Berrios, Gibson, Mejia, Pineda, Odorizzi, Romero, Gonsalves, Slegers, and more....maybe ESan at a lower rate? I'm not sure they will bring in an outside SP this off season.....
gocgo Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 The Orioles are putting it on the Yankees. I can watch that!
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Polanco covered some ground on that play - very nice!

I'm not sure they will bring in an outside SP this off season.....I’ll say this: the Twins have trotted out far worse over the last two years. Probably 40-50 starts worth of worse. Half of those likely should have gone to Mejia.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Nope. Why not? What is it for anyway?
slash129 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Probably the best 5 innings I've seen from Mejia .... Hopefully, that final half season tune-up in Rochester will result in lots of this!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Mejia matching Carrasco so far. As expected.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 How far does Mejia figure to go here after throwing 40 pitches Sunday? He’s at about 80 now. Maybe send him out for the 6th, but I’d be ready to get him at the first sign of trouble.
Jerr Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Why not? What is it for anyway?Practice to make sure they work.
