Nope.  If the Twins were to sign a 40-something Japanese player in the weird case he might attract Osani, Koji Uehara might fit the bill because, unlike Ichiro who is done, is serviceable.

I love Ichiro, but there is no fit for him here. He is a much better bet for the NL anyways IMO.

as a 5th OF that brings Otani sure. also needs to make less than 1 million cause we have 2 options with same skillset. or he can bring Darvish instead of Otani as well.

Shohei Otani, if we let him play both sides he Will want to sign with us!!!.  Why not let him pitch and utilize his bat in the outfield.  Injury risk sure... but a BOLD move by the Twins could retain Shohei Otani at a bargin price by allowing him athletic freedom.  Frankly I see it as a Super-move covering are pitching/fileding/hitting needs to make playoffs.  I was at the Wild Card Game in N.Y. I want more!  It would be nice to just drive down Hennepin this year.
