Rhino and Compass Verified Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 One way or another, it will be interesting to see what the FO does now that they have a full season of information to reflect on. Do they believe that this season is repeatable? If so, prospects may be moved in order to get the big show pieces they need at important positions. Do they not? Then maybe Erv or Dozier are on the block again as they seek to ensure a longer run at the top of the mountain.Or you know, close to the top. I haven't been very good at guessing with this team in the last year, so it will mostly be curious observation. Oh, and also, there is at least one playoff game in the interim. I will be focused intently upon that as well glunn 1

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) I'm a little concerned about Duffy's stuff. It doesn't look as sharp as early in the season, like he's got a tired arm. He's still getting some guys out, but his command and movement are not as good as earlier. That took you long enough. I've been concerned about Duffey's stuff half the season. Edited September 30, 2017 by h2oface jimbo92107 1

Could be they over-used him early on, and now he's fighting either arm fatigue or some kind of soreness.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 That's the 3rd ball I've seen at Target hit the very top of the padding this year off a Twins bat. Instead of moving the fences in, how about just dropping the height a little bit.Actually, can they install small fans in the flowers boxes that only operate in the top half of the inning?
