PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Rosario is delmon young 2.0Trade him. He will never be more than a solid regular who will never reach his peak for more than a few weeks at a time Big difference. Eddie is a threat on the bases and a good (if sometimes inconsistent) outfielder. Delmon was a DH trying to play in the outfield. I get it that he it sometimes frustrating at the plate, but he is so much more patient and has so much better judgment at the plate than he did 3 months ago. There is a lot of room for growth there. Just get a great lineup so that he can bat 6 or 7 and we think of all of his hits as bonuses instead of cleanup hitter failures.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I can be upset. They did jack****e for 8 innings against a struggling starter and the BP. Offense has taken a couple nights off. Good start by Bart. Now we have to rely on sleegers tomorrow to avoid the sweep. Bad series loss, again, to a very flawed team trying to catch us.Now 8-8 the last few weeks against the likes of the white sox, blue jays, royals and rays. AINT GONNA GET IT DONE THAT WAYI just meant one can't be too upset with Rosario hitting the ball hard up the middle in that AB, not the game or series. Sorry if that was unclear.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I am proud of my friends who are now updating me on the Red Sox game. It just ended after 19 innings. The story goes on of how he knows and it is a good 2-3 minutes worth of story, and finally someone asked who won...
