Just too many holes. Look at that lineup tonight. A lot of it had to do with injuries/illness, but that looked like a spring training split squad lineup.

I wish Falvine had taken this season more seriously.  Not trade at the deadline, find some help instead, in July or August.

Thank the forces for mediocrity. The last wild card is surely going to be a product of the best of the ho-hum.

Meh, at the end of the day, the goal is building a champion, not a first round exit. It's going to take years. The team was too flawed, even with Kintzler and a mediocre Garcia. The bullpen could have been bolstered more in the offseason, but other than that, th offense and berrios stunk tonight.

this is what happens when people look at the schedule and say, 'ours is easier cause of teams like the white sox.'

Do people include Mollie? Because that might be the only thing that explains this lineup.

How disappointing. The team deflates quick. Looks like no one wants the second wild card. Everybody losing.

Lol, not as quickly as the fans.....not even close actually.

 

I'm not defending their performance but if this team has been one thing this season, it's resilient.

If it makes anyone feel better, Brandon Kintzler blew a 2 run lead for the Nationals in the 9th. They did come back to win, however.
