I didn't realize that Tepesch had an option remaining. That's good to have a guy at Rochester who can provide innings when needed.

The MILB site listed Tepesch as being optioned in 2015, but they also have him simultaneously getting put on the MLB DL. It appears that option didn't count and he actually accrued a full season of MLB service time that year instead.

They'll need another starter on Saturday May 20 now, correct? Barring more rainouts. Tepesch wouldn't be eligible to return then, barring injury. Also barring injury, they would have to option/DFA someone to add back Gibson or Mejia.

Wilk is only logical candidate to drop, although I suppose they could start him instead. I feel bad planning his DFA when he hasn't even pitched for us yet. Although we would have been better off doing that with Tepesch too...

Except we now have ~4 different ones parked on the 40-man roster. All of them having made only 0-1 appearances as Twins over the last 3 weeks.
