  1. Kiriloff to IL? Kepler traded? Only person you can move to AAA is Larnach, not sure you'd want to do that.
  2. He was actually in New Zealand (have a team in the ABL now) where there are no lethal spiders or snakes (or lethal wildlife of any kind actually). And i know everyones first thought is opiods but they are very difficult to get here. New Zealand is a very remote island its pretty hard of to get Cocaine and Opiods through customs. Unfortunately things as small as Fentanyl have made this harder to stop though
  3. College Juniors market inefficiency? Maybe the seniors are overvalued because of their sign-ability.
  4. Smeltzer wasn't even the headliner in that trade, I believe Raley was, and both for Dozier who was in very poor form at the time. What a trade.
  5. All of the top prospects at this level are trending down, and 2018 was already a bad year for Rochester, so I do worry a bit about the atmosphere of having so many top guys under a lot of pressure. I guess in a years time all the talent at A+ and AA will move up a level and solve that issue.
  6. Ernie De La Trinidad seems like a guy who could be useful at some point
  7. The 'Twins aren't interested' comments from beat writers are usually qualified with something like 'unless the price comes down' which has always struck me as odd because of course the price will come down, no one is signing them.
  8. Wow what if Wes Johnsons true skill was tampering with radar guns. Like that guy from Harry Potter that used memory charms to make people think he was dope.
  9. Whats your Twins bench look like right now? Gonzalez/Garver/?/?
  10. We have no money guaranteed next year (Cruz's minuscule buyout) and we are not in on Harper or Machado and that is really depressing. If not now, when?
  11. Fair enough points about Rooker / Larnach. Cron was free though. So you wouldn't really be willing to trade either Rooker or Larnach for him; which in my mind makes them better "assets."
  12. Kinda feels like a Terry Ryan signing...
  13. What is the contract situation on a guy like Drake? How.many years of team control do we have?
  14. I'm okay with this but I wonder why the Twins wouldn't take what the Brewers gave the Orioles for Schoop? EDIT: nevermind, Schoop has another year of team control
  15. Dozier is hitting .278 / .350 / .611 in July and is notorious for his second half finishes, he has decent value.
  16. I know Lewin Diaz has been struggling lately but this seems excessive
  17. Underslot I assume? Twins looking to go shopping for free-falling talent tomorrow?
  18. Yes its an uncapped league but at some point the money does matter, if it didn't you'd have big clubs going around throwing down tens of millions of dollars for all the comp picks. Don't forget, cash can also be converted back into prospects.
  19. Do you think the Twins are ready to cut bait on Hughes and his salary?
  20. That is really interesting. Does the military pay better than the minors? Maybe you'll see some minor leaguers enlisting!
  21. Well I thought Enns was the better prospect overall as Magill has bounced around a lot already, and since they were basically just throwing arms at the problem I don't see why they wouldn't just use Enns, even if he is a starter. I'm not too terribly torn up about it though.
