    I once made a connection in Atlanta in five minutes after a late flight from Augusta (sadly there for work not golf). Different terminals. Train pulled up with perfect timing. Made it to the gate and only the gate attendent and the standby passenger were there. Gate attendant was even about to scan his boarding pass. Boy was he pissed. Wouldn't have made it if the last passenger to board hadn't had an issue with her carry on luggage (had a checked baggage tag on it apparently). That was my only experience in that airport and it sure was a positive one.

    So catchers putting some pine tar on their vests, wiping their hands on it and getting handsy with the ball before throwing it back to the mound? People somewhat watch the pitchers for pine tar, but not the catchers?

    If their ability to stay in the country now depends on a sports visa of some kind, then if they can't stick with a pro team, they may have to leave? I'm sure there is some effect somewhere...

    With the fantasy baseball trade deadline looming, If you were in a keeper league, would you trade Buxton for Kepler straight up? Who do you think has the better career if you had to answer right now? Lets say you're the Buxton owner and you are in "win now" mode. Would you do it?

    How did Santiago not end up on a contender when the market for SPs was so thin this year? He looks pretty solid. Obviously trade will depend on how Meyer pans out, but I think the Twins got enough to pull the trigger.

    I don't follow minor league baseball as much as Id like, so I am wondering what does it take for someone like James Beresford (a "non-prospect") to be considered for a call up? How much better would he have to do?
