Every team in baseball has at least 60 wins. Nobody will finish with a record as poor as that of the 2016 Twins.

The Padres, at 69-84, are a really bad baseball team.

But then you look at their pythag and realize they're a terrible baseball team. Their expected record is 58-95.

It's impressive to be one of the worst teams in baseball and still manage to be +11 wins over your pythag record.

+11 wins!

Buxton has stolen 25 consecutive bases, which is halfway to the record of 50 set by Vince Coleman. Paul Molitor stole 36 in a row.

If Buxton keeps up his career rates (41 of 46), his rate of 89.1% would be the highest steal % (assuming minimal levels) in major league history.
