In this Mike Berardino article, he writes that Michael Cuddyer is already making an impact in his first Twins camp since being named a special assistant to baseball operations.

 

He (and Torii and LaTroy) won't be there all camp, but they'll be there a significant amount. And they're there to share knowledge they gained in their careers.

Interesting that other organizations bring players to Spring Training more as a show [a week or so], where the Twins actually have them interact with current players.

I don't know, didn't sound very interesting to me.  " Everybody's different, do what's comfortable to you" doesn't strike me as much teaching.  Hell I could have said that......

This is why actually being there watching the goings on during ST is so fun and interesting. The past, present and future all together in one place. Watching the drills and hearing the comments and seeing the participation of former players is always a highlight of any ST.
