jimmer Verified Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 That's true, I did use baseruns. And when I used it I said if you used baseruns in 2015, then in fairness the 2016 team wasn't as bad.are there many/any people saying that this team is truly a 103 loss team? Are any of them people who used baseruns in 2015?
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 My wife and I are doing the home show in a few weeks. We are going with 5+5 as a promotion: 5% off, and 5% to charity. I think. We were drinking while discussing that..... edit: I always wonder, if I do change my mind, and run for office, will this kind of joke hurt me from getting that 3rd vote (besides me and my wife)? Not that joke in particular, but let us know, we might have to delete the whole Sports Bar Forum to protect you from your past! diehardtwinsfan and Mike Sixel 2

Lee-The-Twins-Fan Provisional Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Well, it means the clock is already ticking on De Leon so they can't delay his service time. Yeah - there are 40 guys on the Rays' (and Twins') 25-man rosters. They haven't started spring training yet.
jimmer Verified Member Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Mike Berardino is a tweeting maniac this afternoon. Going on and on about our FO. Falvey notes the core of both Cubs and Indians last year were homegrown. Falvey: "Ultimately we want to build that (pitching) group from within." Edited January 28, 2017 by jimmer

They were meant to be upbeat and optimistic and instead I couldn't help but wonder what they're thinking.

And now - Gladden now downplaying analytics at length. Edited January 28, 2017 by jimmer
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 People thought Murphy's performance at the end of 2015 and in the post season was a fluke, and couldn't be repeated. Well..... he and the Nats showed the rest of MLB. Fans are so fickle. I like having Dozier on this team. Prospects are for dreamers. Professional ball players are hard to come by. We have enough prospects. About time they become ball players.
