Linus Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Beradino just tweeted that Plouffe has been out righted. The changes are starting.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Well, good luck to Plouffe.
mazeville Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Good luck, Trevor. I liked him. But this needed to be done. Twins should have traded him for whatever they could have received a year ago. It would not have changed the result of the season, but at least they'd have a prospect.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 This is the right move to make for the Twins. Good luck to Plouffe wherever he decides to sign this winter.
Brandon Warne Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Kind of funny, but I noticed his mom unfollowed all Twins people earlier today. I tweeted that, and wouldn't you know it, 15 minutes later Berardino has the news of the outright.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 What a waste of trade potential. But it clears room for others to play and that is good.

Brandon Warne Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 According to Phil Miller, John Ryan Murphy was waived and claimed by the Brewers.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 According to Phil Miller, John Ryan Murphy was waived and claimed by the Brewers.Wow. That one is surprising. Must be a C signing on the horizon....
alarp33 Provisional Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Predictions on Plouffe's next contract? I would say the David Freese deal he got from the Pirates in mid-March, 1 year $3 million is a good barometer.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Good guy, but the Twins needed his spot more than they needed him. Glad to see progress.

iTwins Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 One of my absolute favorite guys. For the future of the Twins - this makes a ton of sense. As a fan of his - I'm still sad to see him go. Best of luck wherever you land* Trevor! *As long as it's not the White Sox.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Wow. That one is surprising. Must be a C signing on the horizon....That and a belief that Garver is ready.
Brandon Warne Verified Member Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Ended up being not true -- Adam Brett Walker II, not John Ryan Murphy -- was claimed by Milwaukee.
