He lays that down, you have fielders in horrible position attempting to find traction on wet grass to even get the ball, let alone get footing to make a throw. I get why, but with the count full, it was a bad time.

One advantage of the bunt is surprise. Maddon went with surprise. No one is ever surprised by a Molitor bunt.
