Ok Dozier,  time to put the White Sox AWAY

[gil4]

(I checked out completely during the Brian Dinkelman era. Hell, I don't even know how to spell his name, only how to disparage him. I wonder what he is doing now?)

Dinkelman is a coach in the Twins minors.

So it's still OK to disparage him?

[HitInAPinch]

crap...

[Halsey Hall]

Dozier just can't get that last rbi, and has many chances.

[gil4]

Wait...

Both teams have 2 hits. Yet we got all the runs...

How'd that happen?!

Are they running the wrong way?

I think for once we are running the right way.

also batting .116 over last 14 days.

All joking aside, I would be happy to stop this slide at 103.

[HitInAPinch]

Hmmm....   not sure I like taking out Santiago with a shutout and only 3 hits allowed.

Well, we have to see what we have in Boshears, ya know.

[HitInAPinch]

Just read the scouting reports.  They mention " tub o' goo"

[HitInAPinch]

Escobar in for Dozier at 2nd.  3rd time he's played there this year.

[HitInAPinch]

with the way Chargois is pitching now, what are the odds of Tonkin coming back?

Radio guys said oblique strain, possibly done at 42/99

"Paul simply hasn't been able to manage much this year. How can you blame him..."

Plenty of ways, Dick. Plenty of ways.

And prior to that they're talking about how we need to improve the defense. Yeah, sure, but an outfield of 3 Byron Buxtons and Andrelton Simmons at every infield position and our pitching is still bottom 3 in the league.

I read today that Ventura will be replaced in the Sox dugout next year, by Rick Renteria.  Good move for the Sox.

Hopefully, Paulie won't be able to manage much next year, either, but somebody else will.  Long time fave player, last couple of years, least fave manager.

[David HK]

He got jerked around a lot the last couple of years, and that didn't help.  But he had a heck of a good shot this year, and didn't come through as well as he needed to.  I'm thinking not.  Gosh, I love the guy's stuff, and take full credit for inventing a gnarly nickname for him- but I'm thinking he's probably gone.

[operation mindcrime]

I just read on MLBTR that Robin Ventura is going to be replaced by bench coach Rick Gonorrhea on Monday!

[Platoon]

I am late to the party, but it looks like the plan to hit the ball over the fence with sound pitching and excellent defense is working just as planned. Very glad to see that things are finally falling into place!

[HitInAPinch]

Go Centeno !

Yeah, like his stuff, but not consistent location.

[David HK]

Hee hee.... there's a guy who's serious about having a job next year.  Good strokes on both those 2-out doubles!

Now, have fingers X'd that Beresford gets his first (and probably only) ML RBI...

Oh, wait.  Never mind.

[Halsey Hall]

Maybe tomorrow.

Everybody, clap!

[HitInAPinch]

Why is Kintzler in?  Aren't there any young pitchers that need some MLB experience?

[HitInAPinch]

Who's Tonkin?

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Winnah.

'nough said.

[gil4]

Winnah.

'nough said.

Say it a hundred times next year and it will be enough said.

True.

And they will be said in game threads all their own.

Hopefully it so they can see how he handles the type of leverage situations he is expected to handle next year.
