jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 The last thing we need is for Grossman to back as a member of the Rays next year, killing all the butterflies with his lefty hacks. Or for Schafer to mess up the dirt when he digs in to strike out or falls face down between first and second. Or when Beresford comes to town killing all the infield worms with those hot grounders, Moneyballing it up all over Target Field. MLB needs to give the Twins another AAA affiliate to avoid these situations. 80-man roster cover all of these guys or do we need/deserve 90+?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Papi, Butera, Morales ... when will this insanity end?!?!
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Grossman !!http://i.huffpost.com/gen/1879741/images/o-FIREWORKS-facebook.jpg
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Baseball Prospectus looking pretty smart with that #76 prospect of 2012. Suck it, Baseball America!
Tovar12 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Bringin' the lumber... This could be a good strategic move- kind of an inverse-parabolic-pseudo-counter-intuitive kinda thing. Instead of giving up a run as soon as your team scores, giving up a run as soon as your team squanders a leadoff double, and doesn't score-- so as to show your own hitters how they should be doing it? Make sense to anyone but me?Yup, makes sense to me. Tough love.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Lancaster Barnstormers lamenting the one that got away with that swing. Do the Twins need to send them a PTBNL for this kind of production?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 Grossman !!http://i.huffpost.com/gen/1879741/images/o-FIREWORKS-facebook.jpgHe went all Butera on KC. Still down one...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I'm sick of watching ineptitude and feel-good moments don't even come close to making up for it. Sam Deduno just ate his necklace
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 He's gotta be on the radar for next year. Can you get that? Getting the band back together.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Finally pulled Gibson. Not sure what Twins plans are for him.....

Yeah, but I used to play D&D and watch Star Trek a lot, so that's prob'ly not the kind of rock solid external validation you were looking for... http://www.parmen.com/spockboard320.jpg

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I'm not seeing a new President of Baseball or GM......He's best known as Second Jawa from the Right, but I think that undersells his credentials by a good bit.

Jham Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Why play for a tie in the 7th at home again? Stupid bunt. Stupid steal. We need at least 2 runs to win no matter what. Stupid.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Argh. Polanco lunged at it....and Dozier get's there anyway....
Jham Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Dozier easily scores from first on that (if everything else happened the same) and he easily could have been thrown out... smh.
