sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 I can't believe we're wasting one of Beresford's option years to watch Escobar flail weakly.Patience. Let Molitor pick his points use him. Rome was not built in a day. But i could be wrong...
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Whew!!! And here I was worried that if Plouffe was shut down they'd give Sano regular playing time at 3B. Then our minds are set as ease by Molly's proclamation that it'll be split between Saint James, Eddie the Stick and Miguel. Ah, and this is the same decision maker that can't find AB for ABW, because we need to evaluate RG and whichever Shaefer we happen to have this week?

But i could be wrong...My sources say the Royals called and begged Molly to not play Jimmy and Logan on the same night - too much firepower. Being loyal to the AL Central like he is, Molly obliged. #Gentleman

Platoon Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Catching up on TiVo, and saw RB hammer that single to RF, in classical Twins fashion. . Regardless, I started counting on my fingers, got to 5, and started over again, and still got only to 5! Since I know how to count to ten on my fingers, I knew something was completely f^*k*d up! So I checked the lineups, and WTF, RB is our 5 hitter? . Who'd a thunk it. Now I know why someone would yell in outer space!

jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Anybody else vomit in their mouths a little bit any time Dickbert mentions Logan's future with the Twins?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Schlaugher has hit .184 over his career against lefties. Calling it a career seems somehow wrong. Or right.

You are correct sir! And that tune will be the old Dandy Don Classic. "TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, THE PARTIES OVER!

jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Way to go, Buck ... Jimmy B. would've crushed that hanging breaking ball.

Then our minds are set as ease by Molly's proclamation that it'll be split between Saint James, Eddie the Stick and Miguel. Careful, it's only the third inning. You don't want your cynicism to burn out before Gibson blows up, the bench fails to deliver, and the bullpen implodes.

David HK Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hm. Drew B. .269 avg, .775 OPS. Just took him a little while to find his stroke, it seems. Like getting away from the Twinks coaches seems to work for others as well.... Uh-oh, and just as I type that.... Looks like the start of a Gibby Implosion Inning!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Dyson is really fast. That's all I had for that.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Official score: No Sac. What? They were inside Dyson's head?

You don't want your cynicism to burn out before Gibson blows up, the bench fails to deliver, and the bullpen implodes. In addition to that imposing .642 OPS, I'm banking on Beresford also being able to mop up for Gibson. So, color me not concerned about that. I just hope he's done helping little old ladies across the street when they make the call. Such a sweetheart that guy is.

With Gardenhire moving on, we were deprived of a potential bench stalwart and fan favorite in Toby Gardenhire. Perhaps with James carrying on in his spirit, the Twins faithful can at long last begin their journey of healing.

More than enough motivation to keep the cynicism tank plenty full.

There's little enough suspense at Twins games as it is.

Perhaps with James carrying on in his spirit, the Twins faithful can at long last begin their journey of healing. The dream is still alive, and maybe even enhanced! Isn't Toby the hitting coach for the GCL Twins? Imagine it: manager Jake Mauer, hitting coach Toby Gardenhire, All-Star utility IF James Beresford. My extremities are already tingling in anticipation.
