ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I didn't know the front office was into thinking let alone over thinking. I thought they used a magic 8 ball.

jimmer Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 All right, who are you, and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH EDUARDO NUNEZ?beautiful play, right?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 If I ever got applause that looked like that. I'd ask them to stop and try again.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 It makes no sense to me that that padding on OF walls stops about 4 inches or so above the ground. Why not have it go all the way to the dirt? Leaving that gap at the bottom is just asking for dead balls, and even worse, an invite to an injury. Would dead balls in and of themselves be considered an injury, or just extremely unfortunate?
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 YES!!! (talking about the hit to knock in Rosario)

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Would dead balls in and of themselves be considered an injury, or just extremely unfortunate? The umpire usually stops the game in that instance, no doubt because of having been in that situation himself before.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Would dead balls in and of themselves be considered an injury, or just extremely unfortunate? True Story -- My cousin's turned black as the result of a hernia. He noticed it in the shower and he was alone at home at the time. His mother-in-law lived across the street... so... he goes across the street and shows her. True Story When I heard that story... I must have laughed for a week straight. I don't care what mine are doing. I won't be showing my mother-in-law.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Sano's inability to handle popups (in evidence last season too) was one of the reasons RF seemed implausible to me. I wish I knew what his problem is on those.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Sano's inability to handle foul pops was one of the reasons RF seemed implausible. I wish I knew what his problem is on those. He loses the ball due to the ball colored dome cover, like Jacque used to do. Oh, wait.
