NATIONALS NEED A CLOSER

The Washington Nationals appear to need a closer with Papelbon heading towards the disabled list.

 

I'm Terry Ryan. I'm on the phone. "Kevin Jepsen is not all that bad, just having a tough time with some things here in Minnesota where the team is performing below normal standards. But put him on a winner, and all your issues are solved. Plus, you get an option of keeping him or not next season." Pause. "We will throw in a hot prospect. Alex Wimmers. When we drafted him, he was like your Alex Meyer." Pause.  "All we want is Wilson Ramos." Phone hangs up.

 

Nest day we read "Nationals sign Matt Capps to major league contract."

Lets just package our current bullpen and send it to DC - a care package and all they have to do is pay the salaries.  (Of course we can throw in a few starters and hope they do not notice).
