Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 First off, I'd like to thank DRizzo for creating such a great thread, one that certainly caught my own interest as I read through the discussion. Unfortunately, the Twins politely asked to remove the thread so we, as a group, decided to hide the thread from public viewing. This is the first time we have done such a thing on Twins Daily or any MinnCentric site and we did not take the decision lightly. Initially, we asked the Twins "Why should it be removed? Isn't this public knowledge on a public conference call?" but once we learned the specifics of the call and its intentions, we agreed to the front office's request. While we respect original content and information - which is why we did not remove the thread after the initial request - this conversation could adversely affect the Twins' internal operations and their public planning for the upcoming season. The details of the conversation were not intended to be public knowledge and were said to an advisory board. The Twins were gracious in the request, gracious after our initial hesitation, and have been nothing but understanding through this process. Again, I stress this decision was not made lightly. And double again, we'd like to thank DRizzo for the great thread and all the conversation it spurred on the site.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 thanks for the update. Can we get an update on what the advisory board is? I'm curious if they have some kind of fan group they run stuff by in private or something.

There was 3 meetings this year during the season and they asked us for feedback on a couple different specific items. The ticket exchange program, Ballpark app and ticket renewal process were what we discussed this season. And the council members change every season.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 To be perfectly frank, I have no knowledge of the advisory board or its purpose, only that it exists as a thing... And I learned that about two hours ago.

Hambino the Great Provisional Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Does that delete information only apply to this site?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I endorse the decision made, if the information was not public, frankly. These aren't state secrets we should all know....
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm guessing there was an NDA involved somewhere.
Hambino the Great Provisional Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 So one should not mention the twins affliction for former bleach blonde bad boys triumphant return or already stating what level a certain CF will start in 2016.
