That last Joe Mauer DP reminded me of when I was having a career year in softball 30 years ago, batting near .500, then went zero-for-the-rest-of-the-season the last eight games, including a 6-4-3 DP in my last at-bat. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth to this day.

5. Tiger Stadium on Sunday -- I will be at Comerica on Sunday to watch the game. I'll be in South Bend on Saturday to watch a Notre Dame Football game so I was asking folks around here about the best route from South Bend to Detroit. One guy replied... Drive East until it smells like Crap and then North Until you step in it.

And i didn't note the photo with friday's game thread intro. Did he really hit his hand for the sake of the thread?
