Damn it, you guys! I'm about to give you all warnings. Now all I want for supper is margaritas and DQ! It makes me wonder if I could make a margarita sundae, but that is as appealing as it is unappealing in different ways. Sigh.

I was really smart in college Root beer floats are good, maybe box wine floats are good too! Needless to say I haven't gone back to that recipe.

Wine floats? Oh good God man ... YUCK! I remember in college having amaretto over ice cream. And of course, Bailey's and ice cream ... you must not have been very smart in college.

Root Beer Floats are even better when you use Coney Island Hard Root Beer, which tastes just like A&W root beer, but is 5.8 alcohol (and Gluten free for those who have such issues).

Lol...I once had a margarita sundae and it was fine (though my sister almost gagged and couldn't finish hers. Must be an over 21 thing). My mom was all disapproval, but it wasn't an alcoholic BEVERAGE. I lived. It was perfectly legal, and if it wasn't, it wouldn't have been the first time I broke the law. But don't jump to any conclusions...there's no denying I'm a good girl. Too good, almost.

 

Tomorrow is National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day. I may need to have pizza tomorrow...WITH anchovies. Hmm.

 

You know, for all the national such-in-such days, there aren't that many. I mean, there has to be a fair amount of discrimination in choosing what lasts and what doesn't, and who decides? I wonder if they would be open to a National Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich with Mustard, Chevre, and Apple Slices Day.

 

I wonder if I'll get a warning for that....

That would be my favourite day, I love pizza more than any other single food, I could eat pizza everyday, but just like beer, it needs to be good pizza. Fortunately that's not hard to find, usually.

Always broke the story late last night, but today is in fact, National Pizza with the Works except Anchovies Day. Seems kind of weird to have a day to hate on Anchovies... But let's be honest, that does not belong on a pizza in the first place.

I'm with you 100% North. If I could eat pizza every day of the week I would. Unfortunately my metabolism is slowing down (stupid mid-20's!) and now I have to mix in a salad every now and again to prevent my waist line increasing... sigh, adulthood.

Bacon, shrimp, anchovy and olive pizza.........................served with a keg of beer to clear out the salt!

Pizza for me is topped without any red sauce and greasy meats. It's been said that a white pizza is not pizza, but it's all I can stomach, literally.
