DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Nice to see Rosario have a real nice game as well, seems like he was scuffling a bit lately, 3 doubles will certainly help turn things around.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 How many HR could one expect out of a 3-4-5 lineup next year of Sano, Dozier and Plouffe? 100?I'd be happy with 80.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 So Mrs Chief and I were cleaning out the bedroom last night, and I found a box under some clothes in the back of the closet. Inside were a couple eggs and over $300 in cash. "Sweet," I thought. I asked Mrs Chief what the deal was, and she looked at me sadly and said "Every time I've cheated on you through the years, I've put an egg in the box." I was taken aback, of course, but tried to put on a brave and loving front. "That's all right, honey. Twice in 34 years isn't so bad." "Welllllll," she said, "I've been selling them over the years at .99 cents a dozen." Circus Boy and Riverbrian 2

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 One of the weirdest experiences in my life was stopping in a bar in rural Scotland, hearing John Denver come on the jukebox, and then witnessing the entire bar start singing along to the song. ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 If $ wasn't an object, and everything was equal, it sure would be nice to see Tulowitzki in a Twins uniform.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Astros beat Royals, 4-0.I hate to say it, but maybe it would have been best if the Royals would have won? The Stro's are a wild card contender with us.

The Stro's are a wild card contender with us.No, I think the Astros make the playoffs no matter what happens. With the acquisition of Kazmir, I think they're essentially a lock for a WC berth (I don't see anyone passing the Angels). It'd be nice to pass Houston but I think they're in the playoffs no matter what happens with the Twins. They're a good team that just got better.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I'd be happy with 80.Using tonight as a sample size I would say 480 is the more accurate number. Riverbrian 1

With the acquisition of Kazmir, I think they're essentially a lock for a WC berth (I don't see anyone passing the Angels).I think Kazmir is awesome, but he is always a ticking time bomb, and one pitcher like him probably adds only 2 wins tops the rest of the year for them. The Twins, even as streaky as they have been, have been outplaying (winning) more than the Astros the past several weeks (month) Riverbrian 1
