It sounded the other night like he'll leadoff against lefties and hit ninth vs. righties.

Got home from the MWL ASG in Peoria about noon. Had to decide between watching the Twins/Sox or going in to the office for the afternoon.

 

Despite having to listen to Hawk and the Sox broadcast, it really wasn't a difficult choice.

Checking back on the PbyP, it looks like Sale had a hiccup in the fourth. I guess three will have to stand up. Hughes seems to be 2015 Hughes, so I would call the lead uncomfortable.

Looks like Buck will struggle to get over the Buxton line today. And he's helping Sale the most to another 10 SO game. Rookies. Whaddya gonna do?

 

EDIT ADD: Not complaining. I like Buxton a ton. He brings an excitement that leaps from the field to the stands through the TV camera to my house and interwebs.

Have patience and/or rely on Kurt Suzuki.

Kenny Vargas Scores all the way from first.  That is not something I think we'll hear too often.

I have a very choppy feed here with my crappy internet, and all I'm seeing is Buxton getting into his batting stance, and then when the feed jumps ahead, another strike on the board.

 

He just struck out and I didn't even get to see the ball cross the plate once.

my guess; buxton struck out by the time they finished writing up the robinson at-bat.

I do.  Hughes is only at 84 pitches.  He'll be out there hopefully through the 7th, so that helps.

Nope.  He had to actually run the three bases.  All of them... in one play.
