Does anyone know when they started putting corporate-clip-art-esque pictures of the Twins players in business casual attire on the jumbo screen during their at bats? I haven't been to Target Field in a couple of years, so maybe they've been doing it while, judging by the lack of reactions from the people around me.

Business casual? That's super weird. I saw none of that last year at Target Field, though I won't make it back there this year until September.

I heard a commentator mention it this year. It was something new/different for this season. It was noteworthy because one of the players at that time didn't have a picture. I can't remember whom.

What has stuck out to me the most this season is that in almost every jumbotron clip, Eduardo Escobar is doing something clownish.

 

It makes me like Eduardo Escobar all the more for it.

The thing I notice when i look at the original photos is how many aren't around anymore:  Arcia, Burton, Deduno, Florimon, Fryer, Fuld, Guerrier, Morales, Parmelee, D. Santana, Swarzak

 

Some will be back, of course -- sounds like Danny is burning up AAA but most are Twins no more.
