Jham Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Can anyone remember Mauer EVER going for the lead in sac situation? Hosken Bombo Disco 1
COtwin Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) Hicks probably does. But I am chalking that up to not being used the game yet:) Jeez Mauer, like it's not bad enough you are a negative on the offensive side, but you keep needing to reaffirm that you aren't great on defense. Those plays are mental too. Edited June 16, 2015 by COtwin
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Trevor May did a pretty good job, now we need to score. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Can anyone remember Mauer EVER going for the lead in sac situation? Yes. In Boston, Joe sacrificed to give the Twins the lead. Well, courtesy of the pitcher going for the lead runner at third, and throwing it through I Don't Know's legs.
Jham Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 May battled out of that, but he's having a lil trouble locating and lots of balls between the belt and letters...
COtwin Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I am doing homework for a PLTW teaching course. Nice little deadspace on MLB.TV instead of commercials. Nice ratio of game watching to homework. Hosken Bombo Disco 1
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Da Daily Dozier Double. sampleSizeOfOne 1
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Oh yeah. CBU, the Cardinals scored a run in the 3rd due to Buxton missing after a long run going for a triple. (Like several of those against the Rangers) 1-0 after 3. Now Dozier's on second, and that's halfway to evening the score, in some estimation...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Can anyone remember Mauer EVER going for the lead in sac situation?I can't but I can't speak for everyone. Bottom line... Getting the lead runner is a rare opportunity but that's how the game is played when you are fully engaged. Settling for the free out is like taking the first offer from the banker in Deal or no Deal. Bark's Lounge, glunn, Jham and 1 other 4

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 What are you guys watching during commercials? Anything better than DDD on Food?I just started watching via MLB TV. During commercials breaks it just says We'll be Back. It's kinda uncomfortable... I kinda miss the commercials. I've been conditioned!!!

Seriously, Guy Fierri ordered a 15 inch hotdog with habenara peppers and onions out of a school bus.... uh oh, crushed... anyway, it was called a "homewrecker" and probably belongs at a ball park. May needs to get the ball down. Seriously? Again? Gibby 1
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Trevor May is getting us out of this game in a hurry, giving up Molina's first homer in over a year.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Trevor should stop doing that

Jham Verified Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Probably wouldn't have made a difference, but it looked like Mauer only half stretched there.... I'ma stop piling on now. Come on bats! We need a slump buster. Arcia was usually good for that last year... Buxton can get this team fired up in a hurry if he can start hitting.
