formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Of course he did that on purpose. Can somebody relay the Hawkism?
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Did you see that? Joe made the pain go away. What a guy.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Did you see that? Joe made the pain go away. What a guy.No I didn't. What happened? Did he put a bandaid on the bad owie?
Buford_T_Justice Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 My son just asked if he could have a snack, and then showed up with Cracker Jacks! The Twins are mowing down the Sox, my son finds Cracker Jacks in the pantry and all is good with the world. It would have been absolutely perfect, but the prize inside the bag was a Tigers sticker. So I opened a bag too, and got an Angels sticker. That's OK...there's a lot of season left to get it right.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 No I didn't. What happened? Did he put a bandaid on the bad owie?He made him smile. Laughter is the best medicine.
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 93 mph with the sink and movement Gibson has, he looks just great out there.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 A few more insurance runs would be nice, if only to ensure Hawk's continued silence. I love listening to the Sox feed when they are getting thumped.
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Here's a fun fact about the game. Assuming the Twins get six more outs, they move into a tie for 2nd place in the American Central....the Tigers just got beat by the Astros 10-8
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 8 K's!!! That's the 3rd time he's done that!
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Gibson's pitches look great even in the 8th inning, and he has 8 Ks.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Anyone know if WSI is still around? Most of us ex-BYTOers have been banned from there, but someone needs to setup an account as I'm sure there's an epic meltdown going on right now.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 We should let Gibson finish his own game.
zchrz Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Give him the 9th Gibson is shredding them at this point.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 I hope that Graham pitches today. How about not?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Tigers lose, Royals down 6-1 in the ninth.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 Tigers lose, Royals down 6-1 in the ninth. They ain't comin' back.

glunn Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 With 106 pitches thrown and a huge lead I would not send him back out. Remember, his surgery was not that long ago. And Graham needs the work.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 They ain't comin' back. This will leave the Twins (by percentage points) holding the first wild card slot.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 We get to skip the bottom of the ninth today, right?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Just completed my top 50 prospects for the draft list, so you will have access to that soon.
