70charger Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 CBU: 3-2 after 2 Twins lead in small ball. Hey, just joined. So what happened for three runs? I'm only showing one hit on the box score - Vargas's home run. But it doesn't look like anyone in front of him walked?
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Nolasco must hate this rain ..... cuz it never rains when he's home.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 So, how long can Nolasco get away with throwing an 88-89 4-seam fastball? What was the average speed on his pitches the last time he was really healthy?

Robinson Scored on a Sac Fly by Rosario.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Whoooa … love me some Dozier there!

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Thanks. I read that wrong as Vargas having a home run. I thought I'd had a very brief nap and missed something.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 What happened? I just have Game Day. Dozier is making swoon-worthy stabs with the glove on consecutive plays.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 Dozier is making swoon-worthy stabs with the glove on consecutive plays. It is a good thing that Bubbles isn't watching if that is the case. She already has a hard enough time not swooning over him.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I'm not sure if Nolasco ever induces weak contact
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Dozier is making swoon-worthy stabs with the glove on consecutive plays. Or as described by LEN3: LaVelle E. Neal III @LaVelleNeal · 3m3 minutes ago Dozier makes back-to-back leaping grabs of liners then looks at the dugout and bounces like he's got hops
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 I'm not sure if Nolasco ever induces weak contactAccording to Statcast the weakest contact was Reddick's line out to Dozier.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 so far this twins squad seems a lot more resilient than recent versions ...

The only hops I got are in my beer.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Is it bad that I miss Tommy Milone?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Oy. Nolasco is getting hammered and having an infielder in left field sure didn't help him there.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 This outfield play is ridiculous. I don't ever remember the Twins being this bad defensively. I honest to Gawd know I would have caught that.
70charger Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 That was a godawful route by Escobar. He wants to be the super-utility, he needs to get better in the outfield. I like Escobar at 2B-SS-3B. But he seems miscast as an outfielder.
Tibs Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Oh wow. That's bad. I know he's an infielder, but I don't see how a major league player, who the manager is confident enough to put in the outfield, doesnt make that catch.
70charger Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 What's the over-under on innings for Nolasco? 3.2?
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Has anyone swung at his curve? Anyone?
