formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Going through my "new" baseball cards. Wanna help? (I'm keeping them all, by the way).
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Well, I'm glad to see you pay that compliment to her. It's a rare one, and she probably won't see it until your funeral, but she'll love you all the more for it when she does. She loves me plenty.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Looking over standings through 29 games, since 2006 the Twins have had only one start -- at 19-10 in 2010 -- better than this year. Maybe omen.
gocgo Verified Member Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Love seeing the Twins win, but tempering my excitement because the reality is that Oakand and the White Sox sort of beat themselves with their sloppy play. They gave us a lot of extra outs. The good news is that the Twins aren't beating themselves. So, on to Cleveland and Detroit and lets hope we stay hot and they fall down like Oakland and the Sox.

Well, if this can last, I'm okay with that Maybe this deserves a thread of its own, just like Kyle Gibson. You know, that said, Kyle Gibson was made to be a Twin. He's basically the cookie cutter player for the team.

I'll reserve my judgement on whether or not the Twins are a good team until ... later.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Did my research and found out that Seth Stohs did the first Game Thread. The first one Riverbrian started is right here, and Pedro Hernandez got the win, saving ChiTown from a very bad headache. At least I'm assuming so; I only read the first few comments. I didn't know much about TD back then, but Twins-wise, those were the good ole days, weren't they?

You didn't come up with the great idea of "5 things" like he did. You just copied him. (Which of course is the sincerest form of flattery.) You must be his little brother.
