Tuned in too late and missed the excitement in the bottom of the first, though.

I wish I had really looked ahead at my schedule and done some planning and tried to get tickets to these games in KC. Could've gotten in a game or two before leaving on tour with the orchestra. Although, that might've made me nuts considering how I get for any travel let alone a 2 1/2 week tour.

I'm now listening.  I forgot it was an early game today.  Glad to see the Royals taking the lead at this point.  And that Delmon Young just hit into his second double play today.

Good Viagra ad just now.  I just wish she was selling Carl's Jr burgers instead.

I'm listening to to the Royals broadcast on MLB radio.  Apparently, Bill Curtis of MPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." and crappy cable TV's "Forensic Files" does commercials for Boulevard Brewing Company.  I think that's neat.

I think this applies to me as well...  I was perhaps awake for half the game, on and off.  But i think i caught the meaningful parts.  l certainly caught the catch, and every run what scored, and the end.  Though maybe they just replay those parts so much it didn't matter...

 

Congrats for the Royals!  Thus far, i think my favorite ex-twin moment was Willingham's pinch hit against the A's.  Though i do like seeing Neshek work.

When was the last time Delmon missed the playoffs?

 

EDIT: I looked it up - he's been on a playoff team every year since 2009. His first year with MN was the last time Delmon Young did not appear in the playoffs! Crazy. He's a lucky dude.
