Referring to the 3-0 pitch.

Yes, it could have been misinterpolated in any number of other ways.

[stringer bell]

Yes, it could have been misinterpolated in any number of other ways.

Thought of that after I posted on my tiny keyboard.

[Riverbrian]

That's North Dakota math, right?

Actually... 80 percent Shields... 80 percent Twins offense almost perfectly explains it.

[ashbury]

Thought of that after I posted on my tiny keyboard.

It's not the size it's what you do with it that matters.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Oh, they're still quotable. Just look at RB's recent posts.

Some bad joke entered my head regarding a list of properties for folk, listing them as "status: quotable"

and calling that the "status quo table".

i hope it leaves quietly...

Meanwhile, things are going well in the game, it seems.

[stringer bell]

Wow, Suzuki swings at the first pitch less than Mauer.

Stopped reading here.  Glad I did.

[Circus Boy]

Gotta admit, the new format is nice on the wallet not having to buy those darn steaks everytime I liked a post.

[ashbury]

So w, Suzuki swings at the first pitch less than Mauer.

Those catchers are smart; they know the stuff they try to pull on the first pitch, and aren't going to fall for it themselves.

[D. Hocking]

I don't know how your mind works Brian, but I like it.

I know there was a Twilight Zone episode based on how it worked.

[D. Hocking]

She will probably never understand me Ash, but my irresistibility keeps her around.

I think she stays because you are not a bad cook.

[Gibby]

I don't know how your mind works Bark, but I like it.

[ashbury]

I think she stays because you are not a bad cook.

There's no denying that some women just love the cook.

In all seriousness... I've often thought that catchers should be better hitters because they see so many pitches and spins.

It just doesn't seem to be that way statistically tho.

[Gibby]

I almost cant believe you said that.

[Riverbrian]

There's no denying that some women just love the cook.

Well... Now I need ice cream... I'm going to the freezer... Hope I don't find an IPad in there.

Yogi explained it.  You can't think and hit.

[Riverbrian]

Yogi explained it.  You can't think and hit.

Yeah but Boo Boo was the voice of reason.

[USAFChief]

You can't think and hit.

You'd think that would have made RB uniquely qualified for the HOF, then, no?

[Gibby]

Not only can I not quote, I cant even cut and paste the quotable.

[Circus Boy]

Yogi explained it.  You can't think and hit.

And Yoda expanded on this concept: "Only do. There is no try."

[USAFChief]

I think she stays because you are not a bad cook.

Do we have any independent verification of the "Gibby can cook" meme?

[Gibby]

Show up in St Paul, and I'll verify.

[big dog]

In totally unrelated news, Gibson's throwing one heck of a game here.

[D. Hocking]

Yeah but Boo Boo was the voice of reason.

I remember how depressed I was when Boo Boo got traded right before the trade deadline.  It really messed with the club house chemistry.

[D. Hocking]

Do we have any independent verification of the "Gibby can cook" meme?

I know he can describe food well.

[D. Hocking]

In totally unrelated news, Gibson's throwing one heck of a game here.

Are we allowed to talk about the game on these threads?  (He is looking good).

[Gibby]

I'd rather set my hair on fire before I'd trek to Target Field to watch Mellissa Etherege,

Where's that Anti-Jinx Rhino?

Show up in St Paul, and I'll verify.

I live in St. Paul. Where is my verification?
