Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Attaboy Hughesy! You sound just like Gardy.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 That was one of my naughtier summers.Child born in '83 or are you too young? I do have a daughter born in '83.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 'Zuke got caught lolleygaggin' it out of the box. That reminds me of my favorite "Angry Beavers" episode. One of the brothers wants to become a Lipizzanner stallion and goes to Vienna for basic training. Once he gets there he finds out the drill sergeant for the stallions calls anyone who is not hustling a "lolleyganger".
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Child born in '83 or are you too young? I do have a daughter born in '83. No my first was born in 87. 83 was the summer before I met my wife, and I had just finished rehabbing my 3rd knee reconstruction. I went a little wild.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 How about Kwik-E-Marts?Isn't it Kwik-Star in Iowa?
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Ah, 3 batters faced from our old pal Korecky and the bases are loaded. How bout a slam?
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Isn't it Kwik-Star in Iowa? Website shows Kwik Trip/Kwik Star Just not in my part of the state.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Isn't it Kwik-Star in Iowa? I thought Iowa was Kum-n-Go
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Like I said, "See ball, hit ball".
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 New acquisition Morales>new Jays acquisition Korecky.
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 In the very least, it appears that Morales should have significant trade value. His bat really does extend the lineup; this offense is really encouraging.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Is this the new A/S/L? Seriously if you're in about your 30's and your foot just seems to stay sore, ask your doctor about gout. (It's one of those things that often seems to get overlooked but my dad could have written the primer on it. Beer, STRESS, certain nuts, certain veggies are all triggers. My dad ended up on crutches many an autumn due to stress-triggered gout during corn harvest.) Of course, if you had an injury or something else, ignore me. I love online diagnosis.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I thought Iowa was Kum-n-Go Some but more "Casey's General Stores"
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think Morales needed those ten days in the minors to get ready after all
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 My new anti-hex method is working. I root for whatever team the Twins are playing, on the theory that everyone I root for fails. Thus making it possible for the Twins to have a chance to win. Anyone else do this?
WLFINN Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think Morales needed those ten days in the minors to get ready after all So now the question is? Would you have traded Burdi for a full season of this????
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The creepy meat guy is going to haunt my dreams.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Call me crazy, but bases-clearing doubles are fun.

VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 One, two, three strikes you're out at the ol' ball game..............
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Good signings: Suzuki, Hughes, Morales.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Well, the Jays are gonna have nightmares of Phil Hughes' fastball
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Anti-hex worked again. Darn my Blue Jays! Bad birds! Yesterday we couldn't hit Christy Mathewson. Today it's Walter Johnson. These Twins look unbeatable. Sheesh.
