big dog Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Fien has pitched once in 6 days. Actually he pitched both last night and the night before.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 There's 13 pitchers, let them each have a turn
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I assumed Arcia would replace the 13th pitcher, Willingham to aggravate his wrist and be put on the 60 Couple of hits for Hammer tonight, I think they'll both come up at the same time, Cola goes down and a pitcher.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 There's 13 pitchers, let them each have a turn I'm not too crazy about seeing Tonkin in a one-run game right now. He's looked shaky.

howeda7 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I'm not to crazy about seeing Tonkin in a one-run game right now. He's looked shaky. I suspect he'll be the pitcher that goes down.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 More interesting (to me) than the tired 'three catchers' trope is the question of which pitcher is sent down to bring up the extra bat for next week. Painful though it sounds, the way Tonkin has been going recently it's probably him. Plus he has options, of course.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Nervous about Perk going for the save tonight.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Couple of hits for Hammer tonight, I think they'll both come up at the same time, Cola goes down and a pitcher.Good deal, the hitting will become instantly much deeper. Hopefully Hammer and Arcia come back mashing
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Tomorrow, Guerrier in the 8th up one. Let's go! Bases loaded
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Nervous about Perk going for the save tonight.Really nervous now.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 How about not throwing the fastball down the middle?
big dog Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Perk is following Duensing's strategy- put a runner on first, and let the ground ball work for you.
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Getting a little less nervous....
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Duensing's strategy- . These two words do not go together.
