Morrow threw 28 pitches in the first inning alone. So as long as Hughes keeps a 0 on the board, it's all good.

I know Hicks started off the season on a pretty high note, but it may be time for a day or two off to regroup. Granted we don't have a legitimate backup center fielder, but he is struggling

That was my mistake. I read it as 32 pitches in that one inning. 16 per isn't bad at all.

Shades of Span/Revere/Hammer. Melky would definitely be the better CF. I suppose they don't want to waste Joey Bats' arm in left, but that configuration is all wrong.
