Reider Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Bert just educated on that hyper-obscure newfangled stat... Babip. Sigh. And he won't shut up about it.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Garcia is delmon bad out there. He was literally the last guy in the park to figure out it was going over his head. Delmon is one of the least flexible athletes I've ever seen. Hammer is a close second.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Um...that's a left hand. My thumbs are reversible. It works pretty well but I have to focus when giving the thumbs up sign. I've accidentally killed many good projects that way.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Garcia is delmon bad out there. He was literally the last guy in the park to figure out it was going over his head. But then again, given today's paltry attendance, he'll never achieve true Delmonesque cluelessness.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Just got home, missed the first half of the game. With that said... LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I'm guessing he mispronounced it, too?No, but it's only the third game of the season, so there's plenty of time for that. My guess is that he'll leave the stadium wondering what the he!! Dick was talking about Bip Roberts for.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 The Twins will win some games in Colabello hits like that all season. Ok it's my turn... I believe that should have been spelled "ink".

Thats exactly what I was saying in the first inning.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 My thumbs are reversible. It works pretty well but I have to focus when giving the thumbs up sign. I've accidentally killed many good projects that way. I could get banned rearranging that one.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Um...that's a left hand. Yep. Gosh, I sure hope he isn't drinking his prayer beads, just dipping them in the cold one in his right hand.....
LimestoneBaggy Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Small sample size rules are in play, but the Twins wanted to send Cola to Korea?
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Colabello sporting a 1.625 OPS. Seems sustainable to me
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 That triple is Ok... We have a Cola Cushion!!!
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Colabello sporting a 1.625 OPS. Seems sustainable to me IMO the guy looks as motivated as anyone on that roster.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Small sample size rules are in play, but the Twins wanted to send Cola to Korea? He a big dude and they could use the help against North Korea. Last time we sent them Alan Alda and Gary Burghoff and they were not impressed.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Just turned on the TV, it was 5 to 1. 1 minute later it's 5-4. The TV is going off now.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 There goes the Cola Cushion. Brock!!! I blame you and all that Phil Hughes Superflous shouting you did.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 He a big dude and they could use the help against North Korea. Last time we sent them Alan Alda and Gary Burghoff and they were not impressed. I think it was B.J. Honeycutt that undermined the machismo of American forces.
70charger Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Well, there goes the quality start.
James Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Just turned on the TV, it was 5 to 1. 1 minute later it's 5-4. The TV is going off now.So you are the one to blame.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Kind of surprised Dunn's shot stayed in the stadium...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Just turned on the TV, it was 5 to 1. 1 minute later it's 5-4. The TV is going off now. Good call... It's clearly yours and Brock's Fault!!!
njweismantel Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I know it is early on, but it seems like our pitchers think they can get away with throwing a 91 mph fastball belt high. We are way to far up in the zone so far.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Dunn's three ABs today pretty much summarize him as a hitter
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Good call... It's clearly yours and Brock's Fault!!! It just occurred to me what Brock you were talking about.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Well, there goes the quality start.Got ugly in a hurry. He'll be lucky to make it out of the inning. 94 pitches.
Reider Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Ok it's my turn... I believe that should have been spelled "ink".If.. as in if my aunt had baseballs, she'd be my uncle.
clank2000 Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I don't see so good....is that Scott Diamond on the mound?
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Small sample size rules are in play, but the Twins wanted to send Cola to Korea? Yeah, but that was based solely on the opinion of their Far East talent evaluators.....ie, Nishi too good for Japan, Cola not good enough for US or Japan.
