    Bundy can be really effective when he's changing speeds and stays out of the middle of the strike zone. That changeup last night was nasty.

    Totally enjoyable. The Pale Hose have a good team but can really muck up defensively and on the base paths.

    Yeah, probably not a good sign for him returning any time soon . . . bummer. From Rotowire 6/22/22: "Alcala (elbow) will resume his throwing program next week, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Alcala has been on the injured list since April 12 with right elbow inflammation. He made a rehab appearance June 1 but was later shut down again with tightness in his pitching elbow. He's still likely a long way away from returning, but at least he's showing some progress and his setback wasn't season ending."

    I'd just make Jax the closer and run with it for awhile. Also, Thornburg, if allowed to actually pitch could help the bullpen. Alcala and Megill returning would help too.

    Ya know, I don't want to agree but darn it Nick, it makes a lot of sense. The adjustments you make at the plate with a hip and knee barking at you can really mess with your swing, and sometimes those adjustments are hard to overcome. Maybe a IL respite is just the thing. We have the meat.

    Yep. Men on base without a homerun to drive them in seems to be a mystery to the current day Twins. Rocco might be a good people person but I don't really like his lineup decisions, bullpen decisions or game management decisions. Its so early in the season but I'm already expecting the Titanic to be downed by an iceberg before it even leaves port.

    I don't agree. I think being in the bullpen is good for both him and the Twins right now. His future still might be as a starter. Many young starting pitchers get their feet wet in the majors pitching in relief.
