  1. Fumble and the Rams get it. That's all we need to know about how this will go.
  2. Darnold still looks indecisive and rattled. I think I've seen enough to decide how this game is going to go.
  3. Ha, I hope ALL of them don't, because I think some of them are clearly more dysfunctional than Johnson would like.
  4. Both fantastic and sad. I'll go with sad.
  5. I heard it was Chat Bot GPT. I believe that's a Dutch name?
  6. That would be great. But every time the Vikings attempt a screen pass, the OL are standing around confused with no clue who they are supposed to block. I know the actual blocking of the interior guys draws the most frustration, but these guys also look aimless when they're out in space. I think replacing the OL coach needs to be a priority this off season.
  7. Based on this team's historical trends, this season looks to be in line with the team's typical 7-8 year trend of NFC title game appearances. Where they'll either lose heartbreakingly or get blown out embarrassingly.
  8. So with the lack of coaches being hired, does that mean that the guys the teams REALLY want are still in the playoffs?
  9. I don't much care for McCarthy, but Jerry Jones is stupid, spiteful and doesn't care about winning. Jerk move trying to force McCarthy's hand and I'm glad it backfired. So far only one team hired a HC, I'm sure Jones was hoping all of them would leaving McCarthy to have to decide to take what was probably Jones' lowball offer.
  10. So has Mike Tomlin and I think Vrabel is much more like Tomlin than Campbell. All three are beyond stubborn, but Campbell is stubborn in how aggressive he is while Vrabel and Tomlin seem to be stubborn in trying to out 'old school' everyone else. The difference probably being Campbell comes from the offensive side and Vrabel and Tomlin coming from the defensive side.
  11. Unless your goal is for him to have a ceiling of Ryan Tannehill.
  12. Yeah, Pittsburgh is doomed. This is what you get when you care about looking respectable year-to-year instead of caring about winning a Super Bowl with a long range game plan. It's rare in this league that you can have your cake and eat it too.
  13. I would start over, but I have a feeling Wilson has done exactly what Pittsburgh wanted from him this year. With this scheme and the lack of talented skill players, this had to have been the most optimal outcome for them offensively.
  14. Well, unfortunately the team that comes out of that battle the least unscathed will be the one that ends up playing KC. KC plays the Texans next week unless the Broncos upset the Bills.
  15. I don't know, that Bills vs Ravens game could be the best thing all post season.
  16. Ha for sure, that was more aggressive than needed! I don't have that vested of an interest in the situation. But those who deny evolution do get under my skin. Including those who deny the evolution of sports. A psychiatrist might trace this mental issue back to the Twins Terry Ryan era I suppose.
  17. Yeah, Wilson is better than what they've had since Roethlisberger retired, but it's still really, really bad. And they doubled down on their disregard for passing the ball by hiring Arthur Smith! He was an OL coach, who got promoted to the OC job under Mike Vrabel who also hated to throw the ball, got lucky by having Derrick Henry, parlayed that into a HC job with Atlanta where he PROVED that his system only works with a HOF RB, then the Steelers decided to thumb their noses at the rest of the league AND their fans and hire this doofus who couldn't teach a QB how to blow his nose.
  18. They have to be the only organization that hasn't cared to put any effort into developing a passing game the last half decade. I've always liked the Steelers and Tomlin, but the utter stubbornness in wanting to play 1980's football is starting to get really annoying. Sure, you'll get to the playoffs but with zero chance at winning the championship. Seems like a bad goal.
  19. What?!? I thought that was Darnold!
  20. Wow. I didn't see this coming. Love to see Jim Harbaugh humbled though.
  21. They may call a time out, and the good pro QBs may recraft the play but I think there are still a lot who run the play as the coach calls and only move to the prescribed audibles if available and if exact criteria are met. Only a handful say, 'this is a stupid play, we're doing it my way instead'. Not coincidentally, those are the QBs I want on my team.
  22. Lost in that whole botched goal line stand; even if they scored, Texas was going to leave OSU way too much time to march down and win it. I was already pretty confident it was going to end with a 35 yard field goal.
  23. That pitch for a 7 yard loss at the one was such a terrible play call. You can't run in short yardage against that OSU D, so run a play that gets you negative yards if they do what is expected?
  24. Funny how OSU fans wanted to fire Ryan Day after the Michigan game. Even funnier that even if they win the championship, those same fans will still want him fired.
  25. Wow. That was a crazy last six plays.
