    I'd be okay with moving on from Cron, I'd be curious to see what it would take to bring back Castro, 2 yr, 12? I agree you might not get much for Rosario, but maybe it's high ceiling talent that we can use to replenish some talent that we spend in a different trade. I'm not sure though in general which teams will be looking to trade away pitching, especially in the offseason when hope springs eternal. Like a Jon Gray? The Marlins are probably tapped out...

    The unbalanced schedule will continue to elevate one team from the Central every year and properly expose them, less Cleveland of recent years. Many wins against 3 terrible division opponents in their empty stadiums. Come playoff time our Central champs receive culture shock of The Stadium and are exposed to be the 84 win team they would probably be with a balanced schedule.

    And thus begins the silver lining of this year's playoff exit. Our young players all get a taste, and next year they'll be ready. And therefore we don't need to improve the pitching staff in the offseason.

    I think several guys are still sort of question marks due to health. Turtle is next man up. Hopefully Gibby can be a serviceable long man and hopefully he is not needed.

    Cruz, Kepler, Sano need to be healthy for the postseason. I really don't have a sense of their situations. It would be a great time for Rosario and Cron to get hot and carry the team through the next 2 weeks to allow the aforementioned 3 to rest assuming that the rest will help their conditions.

    I think we have 1 starter and everyone else is a pitcher, even Berrios. That's pretty much how the Brewers pieced things together last year through the playoffs. It could work.

    I am still holding out hope that there's a plan, to do something different than the same approach that has given up a grand slam or 3 run homers every game close and late for 3 games in a row

    I agree with this sentiment even though we've won 70 games with the current approach of 'crush mistakes, get up 7-0 and let the starters comfortably throw the ball over the plate'. Good teams' starters aren't making those mistakes and we're getting behind by being unable to throw quality strikes ourselves. Back to the basics I guess - patience at the plate, fastball command on the mound.

    Cleveland to me added insult to injury by showing that no only have they developed Clevinger and Bieber in the last couple years that they can even call up this guy Civale yesterday for his 2nd big league start and he could be next. He had good command and kept the Twins bats off balance and made them chase pitches near the zone.

    More losses without Buxton. He's the straw. I agree with jokin- these starting pitchers not named Berrios should be pulled after twice through the lineup. I'm not an opener advocate but let's try something different.
