And today he signed a contract extension.

2 days in a row with a bad play at 3B by Miranda.

They needed a long man in the pen after the debacle on Thursday. I do not like the idea of sending Moran down because having Headrick as the only other lefty with Thielbar isn't a good plan at all.

It's the phrasing. He's thinks they've never had an actual big league roster. He was not saying it was better. This is common for him. He has no clue how to make a statement that isn't worded poorly.
  5. lecroy24fan
Well the Dodgers intentionally put him in the pen to avoid paying incentives so he certainly wasn't pleased with that.

IMO it was the obvious move. I'm guessing Julien will go down to make room for Polance since there's no DH spot for him to get his bat in the lineup and he needs at bats daily.. Castro for Kiriloff and then when Farmer is ready there will be a decision there.

All of those are open as soon as gates open, as is Truly On Deck.
  8. lecroy24fan
Players do peak at AAA and never make the majors. No idea how many but it's more than a few. Guessing you are talking about Joe Bauman.
  9. lecroy24fan
I heard it was Trevor Plouffe. He was going to work for them in 2020 but when the pandemic hit that did not happen.
  10. lecroy24fan
At least Tim doesn't say Liriano is to the Twins what Pujols is to the Angels. When Smalley said that years ago with a straight face that ended any like for anything out of his mouth.
  11. lecroy24fan
Varland sent down, Brent Headrick called up.
  12. lecroy24fan
Also in Thursdays game, Joe Ryan threw 69 strikes.
  13. lecroy24fan
Tommy Milone called up by SEA. I've always wondered what the feeling of hitting a HR on the first pitch you ever sees feels like. Especially for a pitcher hitting one.

Gallo to the Il. Julien pulled from the lineup in Indianapolis....
  16. lecroy24fan
They don't need to make a 40 man spot until they were to need to call up a bat. They're not going to do that unless someone on the 26 man goes on the IL.
  17. lecroy24fan
Why would any team in the last year of a deal re-up with a company that will cease to exist in a year? There is a very good chance they don't exist by the end of the year. I get there really is no local option that isn't broadcast but

I didn't walk around during the same so I wasn't sure what they were going to put on it. It had the lineups before the game when I made my once a year walk around to look at any changes.
  19. lecroy24fan
And the stats on the right side.
  20. lecroy24fan
Joe Nathan Randy Bush Denny Hocking Ron Coomer Matthew LeCroy Trevor Plouffe
  21. lecroy24fan
    2-0 + 2-0 = 2-0
  22. lecroy24fan
Between MLB dot com and ESPN they have massively dropped the ball on transaction listings this year. Between this thread and Fangraphs at least I can see these moves.
  23. lecroy24fan
Coloumbe reassigned today, along with Aaron Sanchez and Kyle Garlick.
  24. lecroy24fan
I think you might need a Snickers. Just sayin'.
  25. lecroy24fan
It's definitely on NESN's end, as the bottom line isn't affected by the issues.
