    Not much for starters after Bert and Frankie V. I still have nightmares from the Ron Davis (RD) Experience in the 1980s.

    Kent Paulson was a great guy. I played baseball and varsity basketball for him at Roseville High School in the late 1980s.

    I was sitting in the very top row in left field in section 329 the night of that #1 Sano blast (free tickets from a friend). I thought that shot was going to reach me.

    Dozier will be in the Twins Hall of Fame, and deservedly so. He was their best player for 5 years, won a Gold Glove, and had one of the best individual Twins seasons ever. Top that off with being a fan favorite and a man of high moral character.

    Come on now, Jordan was no angel by any stretch of the imagination. Honestly, some of his actions and baloney would not have been accepted had he not been one of the greatest. The details are murky, I recall he had quite a dark side when it came to gambling, just as an example.

    Kirby meant more to Minnesota. Without Kirby this is the losingest sports town ever in men's professional sports. At least Chicago had the Bears winning a Super Bowl. Without Kirby, Minnesota is nothing (unless you are old enough to remember the Lakers).

    Woulda, coulda, shoulda... Would the Twins and Gardy's guys have won a postseason series or three if Morneau didn't get that concussion? It might not be a huge stretch to say the Twins might have another World Series banner if Morneau and Mauer had stayed concussion free.

    These names don't quite jump out at you like the 1960s hitters did. I gotta admit I had nothing in the memory banks on Steve Braun. I am excited for the 1980s list.

    I will pass on watching MLB The Show Players League. Just not interested. However, I will be happy if MLB goes to robot umps calling balls and strikes because of all of this.

    While I enjoy the positive spin, I have to wonder on the moral question of should society provide daily testing so these guys can play a game? If one sick person cannot get tested because we are trying to get MLB playing then it's wrong. I hope they play as much as anybody. I just can't justify redirecting needed resources.

    I wish I could remember, except for the fact I was -11 years old at the time! I'm assuming the game wasn't televised?!

    The proposed alignment is better than no baseball. Still, it is much more difficult than the existing AL Central so get me back to the way things used to be and out of this "new normal".

    The glory days. I was 15 and lived and breathed Twins baseball in 1988 (not much different than today, I guess). I remember being of the mindset that the Twins would repeat as World Series champs in 1988 after they won this home opener.

    The question that I have had for a few years has been "Why is Kepler's BABIP so poor?" After reading this article I add, "Why is Kepler's BABIP so poor against right handed pitchers?" This piece gives good info on Kepler, I don't think it directly answers my questions, though.

    Yes, 2015 was an especially fun and unexpected season. Personally, my frustration had boiled over with the Gardenhire era and for the first time in a long while I wasn't consistently watching the games or going to the stadium. Getting Molitor in there was a much needed change. 2015 meant a lot to me and rekindled my love for the Twins.

    Things could get really weird if they have the players wear masks. This might also be a nice way to get robo umps instituted, which is a positive in my book.

    I've tried to avoid posts like this to avoid the negative streak in me from coming out since nobody needs that right now. My head says no baseball in 2020, not at least how we know it. I can see maybe empty stadiums with a December World Series as a possibility. My heart begs to be at Target Field for the home opener in July with my wife. Bring my first grade daughter to the games she has for the TC Sluggers Kids Club. Hang out with my buddy as we enjoy my partial seadon ticket package. Gather the work friends and old friends I only see once per year when we meet at Target Field. Watch the games every day when I can, even though a lot of them are replays started on the FSGO app after the children are in bed. This has all really made me realize how important the Twins are to me. I know in the grand scheme in today's world it is silly. Still, if society stops caring about things like MLB then we are in a bunch of trouble as a society. So, I will keep caring and keeping the faith we will have a season.

    After recently watching games from the 1970s and 1980s, it truly looks like a completely different game compared to today. I can do without the strikeouts in abundance and miss the strategy of (yes, bunting) stolen bases, hit and runs, etc. Today's game is exciting and beautiful in its own right as well.

    Regardless of when/if the 2020 season starts, I am predicting Byron Buxton spends time on the IL in 2020.

    Well, #s 20-11 are rather uninspiring. The top 10 isn't terrible. My favorite is the end quote to the article, "With his induction into the Hall of Fame, Blyleven is the only pitcher in the ranking to be inducted—yet.Who knows, someday Scott Baker could end up joining him."
